The Jackson Parish Police Jury has authorized Secretary / Treasurer Emmett Gibbs to conduct interviews for the vacant Administrative Clerk position. The approval came during the special called meeting held by the JPPJ on Friday, September 29th. 

In other action taken by Jury members, Cooperative Endeavor Agreements with the Treasury Department for ACT 397 were entered into. The purchase of a 48 foot Live Floor Trailer from Performance Truck was also approved. 

The JPPJ will meet again for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 17th. The session will take place at 6:00 pm at the Charles H. Garrett Community Center, located at 182 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.
