Jackson Parish Ambulance Service continues “End the Epidemic” Campaign

The Opioid Epidemic is found in every corner of the nation. No place large or small is exempt from the deadly plague, including Jackson Parish. In an effort to be of public service to the community, the Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District (JPASD) has launched an “End the Epidemic” campaign.

On Friday, October 6th, the JPASD was at the Quitman Fire Department to deliver Naloxone training to the Firefighters and Emergency Medical Responders. Instructor Jeff Carpenter presented the critical training that impacts lives in every community.

So far to date the JPASD has brought this education and training to Firefighters in the following departments:

🚒Ward 4 (Weston) Fire Protection District
🚒Ward 1 (Quitman) Fire Protection District
🚒Ward 7 (Hodge) Fire Protection District
🚒Hodge Fire Department
