The Board of Aldermen for the town of Jonesboro has announced a special called meeting will take place at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, October 17. The session will take place in the Conference Room of City Hall, located at 128 Allen Avenue. Two agenda items will be the focus as the board will consider terminating the enjoyment of the current Jonesboro tax collector and and appoint a new one.
