Jackson Parish and especially two young ladies at Weston High School made an impressive showing in the many divisions in the 4-H Competitive Exhibits at the Louisiana State Fair in Shreveport this past week.
Jackson Parish had over 100 submissions from six schools entered into the various division contests with thirty one coming home with ribbons. There was none better though than Alley Hines and Avery Dark of Weston High School who brought home Grand Champion Ribbons. Hines took top prize in the Senior Sewing and Senior Home Accessories Divisions while Dark was named best in Senior Arts and Crafts.
