The Quitman High School FFA showed their skills in carpentry by earning not one, but two, top ten finishes in area competition held on October 18th at the Ike Hamilton Expo in West Monroe. 

The QHS Blue Carpentry team of Caden Brown, Adam Robertson, Eliza Guin and Madison Taylor brought home a banner for their third place finish among the 23 teams that participated. The Gold Carpentry team comprised of Hayden Davis, Aiden Lay, Chris Maxwell and Jake Potts finished in 8th in the competition
