The Jackson Parish Police Jury has called for a special meeting on Wednesday, November 8th at the Nathaniel Zeno, Jr. Meeting Room of the Jackson Parish Administrative Building, located at 160 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.

Agenda items are as follows
Consider and approve the increase of $5,500 for the brush axe tractor.
2. Consider and approve giving the President authority to sign a letter notifying Facility Planning and Control that Jackson Parish Police Jury is withdrawing the local match of $250,000 for the Pavilion Project.
3. Consider and approve the utilization of the $250,000 previously set aside for the Pavilion Project to be used for a partial payment on the $338,083 Front Loading Compactor Truck for the Solid Waste Department.
4. Consider and approve hiring Kenneth Wayne Moore for General Laborer – Grounds Keeper position in the Maintenance Department.
5. Consider and approve hiring Maria Barnett for part-time Receptionist position at the Health Unit.
