A look at the past and preparing for the future will be the feature topics of discussion during the final regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Jackson Parish School Board for 2023. The session will take place at 11:00 am in the conference room of the Jackson Parish School District (JPSD) Central Office located at 315 Pershing Hwy. in Jonesboro.

The meeting will begin with Amy Hay providing information on how Jackson Parish schools fared in the 2022-23 Performance Scores followed by the board considering electing a Vice President for 2024.

Additional items to be considered will be recommendations of the Executive/Finance and Building/Grounds Committee”s, which will meet prior to the general session. JPSD Superintendent David Claxton will close the meeting with final comments.
