The Christmas Parade and Festival last Saturday was just the beginning as the annual transformation of the town of Jonesboro into the Christmas Wonderland in the Pines continues throughout the month of December. 

Not only will the thousands who are expected to stroll up and down the adorned streets witness the beautiful display of lights, many activities also are on tap for their enjoyment. 

The fun begins on Monday, December 4th, when from 5:00 – 8:00 pm it will be Ladies Night Out as they get the opportunity for shopping with downtown Jonesboro merchants who will be offering holiday discounts. Children will also get to visit with Santa in his house at Tony Rome Park AND carriage rides will be available on each Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the month beginning at 5:00 pm each night.
