Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger! That is what new Grambling State University head football coach, Mickey Joseph, is hoping will be the mantra for Jonesboro-Hodge High School football players over the next several years.

Facilitated by GSU alum and Jonesboro resident, James Bradford, and Jonesboro Mayor J. “Spike” Harris, Joseph came this past Thursday to introduce himself to the JHHS administration and coaching staff.

Long respected as an excellent recruiter of talent in Louisiana, Joseph iterated the importance of establishing relationships with local high schools and acknowledged that he was well aware that players from JHHS has for years played integral roles in the good fortunes of GSU football.
