Quitman Fire District 1 would like to congratulate Chief Philip Brown for earning his lifetime membership in the Louisiana State Firemen’s Association! Chief Brown has served the citizens of Quitman Fire District 1 since he was 18 years old! When Chief Brown was just a child he tagged along with his parents David and Winifred Brown as they traveled to Arkansas to bring back the first fire truck for Quitman Fire District 1. We also appreciate all of the hard work and dedication he has shown and continues to show to this fire department and the community!
