
Tasting victory in sweet. Doing it twice in the same night is doubly nice. That is what the Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School (J-HES) did on Monday, February 5th when the girls team won by a score of 14-8 followed by the boys putting the exclamation point on the double dip by besting Choudrant 21-18.
JHES 14 Choudrant 8 (girls) – De’Riyah Mills and Marlei Moss did all the scoring with Mills leading the way with 8 points and Moss chipping in with six.
JHES 21 Choudrant (boys) – A balanced attach paved the way to the impressive victory as five scored. Antley Wright led the way with 8 points with Addaren Amos finishing with five. Caiden Jackson chipped in with four points and both Brady Malone and Antoine Spivey scored two.
The final home game of the year which will be 5th Grade Recognition Night will be against Simsboro at 6:00 pm on Monday, February 12th 2/12 at the J-HHS boys gymnasium.
