Local high school anglers are looking forward to a “home-water” advantage this coming Saturday when the 2024 LHSAA Qaulifier 1 Fishing Tournament is competed on Caney Lake.

Two person teams from schools all  over are expected to descend on Jimmie Davis State Park to check in for the opportunity to earn the right to fish in the upcoming LHSAA state championships that will be held on Toledo Bend on March 22-23. 

Takeoff will be at 7:00 am with Weigh In scheduled for 3:00 pm at Jimmie Davis State Park, located at 1209 State Park Road.
