The Legacy League is looking for volunteers to help during games of the upcoming season that is scheduled to run from April 22th – May 20th. Games are played each Monday beginning at 5:30 pm on Field 3 of the Jackson Parish Recreation Department Sport Complex, located at 5254 Hwy 4, east of Jonesboro. 

The Legacy League is for players with physical, cognitive or developmental disabilities and league organizers are looking for volunteers who will be supportive, compassionate, understanding, encouraging, thoughtful and considerate.  Volunteers should offer as much or as little help as the player needs or wants. Sometimes it will be just guidance or positive reinforcement needed while other times more physical help may be required. 

If your team, club, or organization would be interested in volunteering, please contact Kari Potts at kari.potts@jpsbschools.us by March 31st. Please include the date your group will be available to volunteer and estimated number of people that will be assisting. Individual volunteers are also welcome to participate.
