J-HHS Ag Department is thrilled to announce that the landscape and design to beautify our campus has been completed. Thanks to Jonesboro State Bank Pledge 10, our students worked hard at building wood projects for this beautification and learned hands on landscaping.
Ms. Angela K. Shows taught students the effectiveness of harmonious aesthetic landscaping through the use of elements such as color, texture, line, placement, and the correct plants to transplant. Students achieved this learning as impactful, sustainable, balanced, and beautiful while giving the front campus a face lift and the Ag area more foliage with blueberries, crabapple, mayhaw, and fig trees.
Signs were placed throughout the J-HHS campus displaying various campus locations. The front of the school was landscaped with magnolia gems, arborvitaes, fan palms, purple dwarf loropetalums, miniature camellias, red and
white knock out roses, and red yucca. All these plants were enveloped with a raised bed of black mulch.
Thank you Jonesboro State Bank for allowing this endeavor! Your support and dedication for our school, students, and community is a tremendous blessings!
