Council members for the Village of Chatham held their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Chatham Village Hall where a short agenda was attended to. Present at the meeting was Mayor Gregory C. Harris, Council members Mike Wilson, Laverne Mixon, Toni Malone and Sue Proffer.  Council member Bernadean James was absent.

After the perfunctunary actions of accepting the prior months meeting minutes, approving the financial statement and paying monthly bills, the panel then discussed current fee schedules and buildings that needed to be condemned. 

The decisions made was that a new fee schedule would be presented at the next meeting that contained updated fees and that more information would be gathered about which buildings within the village corporate limits should be condemned. 

The Chatham Village Council will meet again on August 13th.
