The Louisiana Blue Jays finished as runner-up this past weekend in the prestigious Tournament of Champions played in Mt. Pleasant, TX. Made up of primarily Jackson Parish high school hoopsters, the “Jays”, an independent travel ball team, won five of seven games played. 

Under the tutelage of head coach and Jackson Parish resident, Wayne Thomas, the “Jays” began play in March, placing in seven of the ten tournaments they played in. This includes four 1st place finishes, coming in 2nd twice and third once.
