When you enter the Quitman High School gymnasium one of the the first things you notice is all the banners hanging from the upper reaches of the facility. Two more were recently added to the collection when this past week, the QHS coaching staff and faculty along with several volunteers updated the banners of the softball team.

Now showing is the banner commemorating the first ever school state championship won by the 2024 Lady Wolverines, who captured the LHSAA Division V title this past spring. The banner that shows the years of district championships won was also updated to include the 2024 season.
