The athletic program at Quitman High School has seen virtually every sport receive upgrades in their playing locations over the past couple of years. First it was the baseball and softball fields that received new bleachers and improvements to the perimeter of the fields. Then the gymnasium got a facelift when the foyer and bathrooms were redone. Now it is the track and field complex that has a new look. This past week, the QHS track received new surface spray that not only enhanced the look but made it a better and safer surface for running and jumping events.
