Christian McGuire nominated for Congress Future Medical Leaders Award

Jonesboro-Hodge High School senior, Christian McGuire, son of Cortez and Tyrhonda Mcguire, has been nominated for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence.

The Congress of Future Medical Leaders is a highly selective national program honoring academically superior high school students who are dedicated to service humanity through the field of medicine.

He will represent the State of Louisiana in Boston, Massachusetts as a delegate at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders on June 25-27 , 2025. Upon completion of the program. Christian will be presented with the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence by a Nobel Prize winner.

Christian says that attending Tulane’s Pre-Med Summer residential program,  where he received his Biomedical Engineering certificate this past summer, opened up many more doors and he is thankful for every opportunity presented to him. He is looking forward to representing his State of Louisiana at the program in June.
