If you grow up in Jackson Parish, then there is a good chance that someone from your family either works, has worked, or will work, at the largest employer in the area, Smurfit Westrock manufacturing plant.

Thanks to the tremendous organization and planning by the administration of the Hodge plant, students from Jonesboro-Hodge, Quitman, and Weston High Schools were special guests for Manufacturing Day on October 4th.  opportunity to take a first hand look at their possible future career destination. 

The special day for Jackson Parish School District students gave them an opportunity to take a first hand look at their possible future career destination as they toured the facility and were given insight by administrative personnel.
