Quitman Junior High School came away with the state runner-up finish in the girls division of the Junior High / Elementary State Championships ran at Choudrant High School this past Saturday. 

Under the tutelage of coach Cindy Pardue, rRunning for the Lady Wolverines were Karlee Altheimer, Elliot Savage, Bella Caskey, Audrina Martin, Anna Pardue, Teyton Narron, and Addi Faber.

Individually Quitman had two finish in the top ten, with Martin coming in 8th and Pardue placing 9th. The QJH boys team and Quitman Elementary also was well represented as the following also all had top ten finishes.
