Jackson Parish Ambulance Service shines Employee Spotlight on Zachary Parks

Zachary Parks – Paramedic

The Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District is pleased to announce that the Employee Spotlight for December shines on Paramedic, Zachary Parks for his unwavering dedication to serving others. 

Responding to 361 medical assistance calls this year, Zachary came to the JPASD in 2023 after beginning his EMS journey in 2020 with the Northeast Louisiana Ambulance Service. 

Zachary’s growth continued when he completed his Paramedic certification in the spring of 2024, graduating at the top of his class and earning the prestigious William E. Brown Excellence in Emergency Medical Services Award for his outstanding work and commitment. 

In addition to his EMS accomplishments, “Zach” has served five years as an Army National Guard Combat Medic and is also a certified Instructor in AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) bringing invaluable experience and discipline to the JPASD. 

When not on duty, Zach enjoys spending time hunting or watching sports of all kinds.
