Aspen Atkins, a sophomore at Jonesboro-Hodge High School, recently entered the Dugdemona Soil and Water Conservation District poster contest. She placed first in Jackson Parish and second in the district. By virtue of her placement, Atkins, who is the drum major for the JHHS band won a total of $75. 00.
