On Monday evening, January 13, Quitman Elementary played host to Crawford Elementary of Arcadia with the boys improving to 3-1 on the year after winning 26-9 and the girls dropping to 2-2 following a 34-11 loss.

Pacing the young Wolverines was Asher Norred with 9 points. Luke Davis scored 5, Bentley Ponder and Kutter Blalock added 4 each, and Sutton Vail and Andrew Seymore chipped in with 2 points each. Savannah Porter led the Lady Wolverines with 9 points and Lilly Tolar added a basket.

The next game for QES is Thursday January 23 at Quitman as the girls will play Simsboro Elementary and the boys will play Dubach Elementary. Tip off for the first game is set for 6:00 pm.
