Four from Jackson Parish 4-H compete in 2025 LSU State Livestock Show

Reserve Grand Champion!
Lane Diffey of Weston High School

Jackson Parish Livestock Exhibitors left their mark on the 2025 LSU State Livestock Show by coming home with two Top Ten showman awards, multiple class and division winners and 4th Place Premier Exhibitor.

“These families work hard to raise and prepare their livestock projects so bringing home these awards from a state level show is what they have worked for all year long,” said Jackson Parish 4H Director, Kristina Bourgeous. “As their agent, the best part is hearing from other agents and administrators how much they enjoy interacting with our Jackson Parish youth. Our youth are respected members of the livestock community.”
