Jackson Parish is tremendously fortunate to have such a talented and creative administration and staff at both the Jonesboro and Chatham branches. Their dedication in providing the best experience possible for their patrons have been the grounds of many introductive enjoyable and educational programs. Recently both branches introduced two new opportunities for young children and adults alike with the introduction of “VOX” Books and the “Binge Box”.

VOX BOOKS

A creative way to get the “little ones” interested and excited about reading, VOX Books are books for children with a built-in audio player that reads the story aloud as your child follows along. This allows your child to experience a audiobook and a traditional, physical book in one. All you have to do is press play! 
Vox Books cover various topics and genres, so every child can find what interests them and can be checked out by anyone in good financial standing with us who has a valid Jackson Parish Library card. 

BINGE BOXES

In the mood for a movie marathon? Then our Binge Boxes are perfect for you! Each Binge Box contains a collection of movies centered around a particular topic or theme. Whether your interest is in Westerns, Romantic Comedies, or Disney adventures — there’s something for everyone to enjoy! The best part is that those 18 years or older, verified in our system, in good financial standing with us, and who have a valid Jackson Parish Library card can check out 10 Binge Boxes at a time.
