March 5, 1944 – February 27, 2025

Carolyn Yvonne (Robinson) Taylor, age 80 of Jonesboro, was called home to be by the side of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Carolyn had a heart that was larger than life. She loved to help people in any way she could and always gave to those in need. Playing the piano was a huge part of her life and she used the piano and her love of music to minister to others. She was a volunteer Sunday school teacher, she taught piano and music in school. She showed her music talents early on and started playing piano in church at the young age of ten. Carolyn passed her love for music on to her children and enjoyed watching them sing in the choir.

Carolyn was a hair beautician for fifty years and she loved every minute of it. She enjoyed visiting with her clients and getting to know each one of them. She was blessed to have inherited some of her clientele from her mother, as she followed in her footsteps and was blessed with the same styling-talents. Carolyn had only been retired for two years before she passed away. She enjoyed it too much to walk away, which made retirement a hard decision for her. She never took any task at hand lightly and always gave it her all, no matter what the task might be. She enjoyed decorating her home, the funeral home, and her church for the holidays and always decorated them to perfection. She took pride in everything she did. Especially when it came to her family. She loved each one of her family members dearly and you could hear the love in her voice when she would speak of her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her beloved fur-baby, KK. You knew when she spoke of them that they consumed her heart.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, Nolan C. Taylor; daughter, Kimberly (Taylor) Gresham and Stanley; son, Timothy Taylor and Niki; grandchildren, Amber Thomas and Mark, Gavin Gresham and Lana, Selby Gresham, Evan Taylor, Gabrielle Gresham; great grandchildren, Asa Walker, Nolan Thomas, Braddock Chandler, Maylee Gresham, Emmett Thomas, Silas Thomas; brother, Jerry Robinson and Benola; aunt, Bobbie Sowers; cousin, Carola Whicker; fur-baby, KK; sister in law, Renelda Taylor; brother in law, Garland Taylor and Jerry; special adopted family, Carla Peters, Samantha Shows, Ken Jones, Kimble Thompson, Steven Pardee, Tommy Sharplin, and Charles Burns.
