Susan (Chatham) Davis
March 20, 1943 – March 3, 2025

Susan Lucille Davis passed away in Monroe, Louisiana on Monday, March 3, 2025. She was 81 years old. Susan was an artist, crafter and gardener. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting and loved catching catfish from the bank. Susan loved life and loved doing for others. Her life was filled with various projects of one sort or another. She was thoughtful and selfless and cherished her family.

Survivors include her children, Kathy Harmon (George), Johnny Davis (Gayla), John Goodwin, and Lin Claborn; grandchildren, Samuel Harmon, Elios Cornejo, Annie Harmon, Tiffany Vines, Kaylee Davis, John Aaron Davis, Alecia Bryant, Allen Goodwin and Cody Goodwin; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Hubanks (Earl), and Linda Chatham.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Davis; daughter, Rhonda Goodwin; granddaughter, Wendy Harmon; father, Leroy Jackson Chatham, Sr.; mother, Hazel Maude (Watson) Chatham; and 3 siblings.

A graveside service will be held at Chatham Cemetery on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Chris Bryant officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Samuel Harmon, Chris Bryant, Allen Goodwin, Cody Goodwin, John Aaron Davis, T.J. Vines, James Chatham and Thomas Chatham.
