Who will be the Superintendent of Schools for Jackson Parish this next school year? It looks like the wait for that answer won’t be much longer as the Jackson Parish Parish School Board has called a special meeting on March 13th to address the situation. 

According to the agenda filed for the 11:00 meeting that will take place in the Conference Room of the Jackson Parish School District Central Office, located at 315 Pershing Hwy in Jonesboro, procedures designed to fill the position are the only items to be discussed.

2. Pledge of Allegiance – Paulette Belton
3. Call to Order
4. Consider procedural matters, if any, related to the Superintendent interviews.
5. Conduct interviews of applicants for Superintendent position. A portion of such interviews may be held in executive session pursuant to La.R.S.42:17(A)(1).
6. Consider election of Superintendent or selection of finalists for Superintendent position.
7. Adjourn
