The Weston High School boys basketball team took the trip of a lifetime recently when they traveled to the Smoothie Center, home of New Orleans Pelicans of the NBA, to take part in the annual “Court of Dreams” promotion.  

After first accessing the court earlier in the afternoon, where the players got to shoot around and play pickup games, the Wolves team and coaching staff were invited to the floor once again while the Los Angeles Clippers were warming up and greet the Pelican players as they entered.

“It was truly an awesome experience and life long memory that I will always cherish and I hope that all of my players will always as well,” said WHS head coach Jacob Otwell. “I am so thankful to the Pelicans for allowing us to experience this together.”
