
QHS golfers Noah Leach, Grant Williams and Payton Nomey, along with Steve Williams, won the April 8th Tuesday Night Scramble
There was a major youth movement at the Jackson Parish Golf Course on April 5th as three Quitman High School golfers, Noah Leach, Grant Williams, and Payton Nomey, along with “senior statesman” Steve Williams, shot 10-under par to win the weekly Tuesday Night Scramble.
The foursome won the tightly contested 9-hole event in a scorecard playoff over Eli Walker, Ethan Dunham, Trent Franklin, Don Causey, and Riley Duck, both teams coming in one stroke better than third third-place team of Brad Porter, Sony Gill, Josh Smith, DJ Harrell, and Daniel Rollinson.
