Thank You To All Jackson Parish Journal Supporters

There is an old saying that “a friend in need is a friend indeed.”

The meaning behind that is a true friend is someone who is there for you and helps you when you are in a difficult situation or need assistance.

With that in mind, I can’t thank enough the many friends who have come to our aid during the difficult time my family has endured over the past several days as a result of my wife being involved in a horrific auto accident.

We are so very thankful to all who have reached out to lend their support and well wishes, and feel very blessed to live in a community where there are so many loving and caring people.

I am so very happy and grateful to our Lord to announce that on Tuesday, my wife was released from the trauma care unit of the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock, AR, and we are now back home. While she still has a long road to travel before being fully recovered, we are eager to begin her rehabilitation from the many injuries she sustained and get life back to normal once again.

I also want to thank all the patrons and supporters of the Jackson Parish Journal, of which I am honored to be the editor and publisher, for your patience and understanding regarding the recent disruption of normal services.

While always attempting to achieve the goal of providing all current news, sports, events, and information pertaining to Jackson Parish, I know that this pursuit has come up short over the last couple of editions, which has been limited in content. Beginning with today’s edition, I will be working to have all the local news that hasn’t been reported on brought up to date quickly.

I greatly appreciate your continued understanding and ask all to continue to look to the Jackson Parish Journal as your source of learning about what is taking place in our parish.

Once again, thank you for your support and may God bless each of you!
