Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jonesboro State Bank and the Pledge 10 Grant Committee for your generous support in helping us launch our girls’ softball team. Your investment in our students is deeply appreciated and will have a lasting impact on our school community.

Thanks to the Pledge 10 grant, we were able to outfit our team with 30 high-quality v-neck jerseys, fast-pitch bats, NFHS-approved softballs, face masks, a full fast-pitch catcher’s kit, a Tanner Tee for training, and 15 durable organizer backpacks. This essential equipment has given our players the tools they need to compete with pride and confidence.

Importantly, the grant has also made it possible for us to secure a dedicated coach who will provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to our athletes—an invaluable asset as we build a strong and sustainable program.

At Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School, we currently offer football, boys’ and girls’ basketball, and cheer. The addition of a girls’ softball team aligns perfectly with our existing activities and gives students yet another opportunity to participate in school life—whether as athletes or enthusiastic supporters from the sidelines. This new program helps promote school spirit, teamwork, and a sense of belonging for more of our students.
