On Wednesday, April 29, the Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary faculty and staff held a Union Bee Transition Day. Incoming Kindergarteners got to tour their future campus and meet faculty and staff. Each student left with a Summer Learning goody bag which included- DIBELS Kindergarten Home Learning Packet, Kindergarten curriculum, supplemental materials, OAR learning activities, books, and sweet treats.

As previously published, J-HES was awarded a competitive grant to increase Autism acceptance through peer education. The grant funded each K-5 classroom with OAR materials to teach interactive mini-classroom lessons to help students build more inclusive relationships with their Autistic peers.
