
The Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter at Quitman High School recognized their members on May 15th at their year-end Chapter Awards Banquet. Ag I students received their Greenland degrees, and Ag II students received their chapter degrees. Awards were also given for livestock showmanship, career development events, and proficiency awards.
Quitman FFA Earns Ten Career Development Event Credentials
Ten student members of the Quitman FFA earned Agriculture Career Development Event (CDE) IBC Regional Credentials. These credentials are aligned with the Jump Start 2.0 Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Pathway.
Credentials were earned by demonstrating advanced knowledge in their specific content areas through scoring greater than 70% of the possible event points.
