The Jackson Parish Library announces that registration for the Summer Reading Challenge Program continues until Friday, June 11th, at both the Jonesboro and Chatham Branches. 

Give your child the opportunity to elevate their reading ability and get a head start on this fall’s school year while also vying for cool prizes that will be awarded upon completion of the standards set. 

Summer Reading Challenge Kicks-Off on June 5th & 6th

The 2025 Jackson Parish Library Summer Reading Challenge begins on Thursday, June 5th at the Chatham Branch and Friday, June 6th at the Jonesboro Branch. Highlighting the opening day at both branches will be magical entertainment provided by Frank and Tammy Chaisson as well as face painting, balloon art, and SnoCones by Willy T’s. See below for times.
