Puzzles

Do you work puzzles?

Many work out crossword puzzles, word search and jigsaw puzzles. My Mom was a whiz at the first two but do not remember her ever doing the jigsaw puzzles. As a family, my husband and I along with our daughter and son often did. It takes determination and time to work jigsaw puzzle pieces into place. It’s not a good pastime for the impatient.

It seems that the manufacturers deliberately try to make finding certain pieces difficult. Maybe that’s why it works so well as a group project; what one person doesn’t see as a fitting piece, another in their searching does.

God is actively involved and working in my life. He makes the pieces fit.

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:12-13 KJV).”

With the Holy Spirit’s leading I’m able to work out (put into practice) the salvation that God is working in me. I don’t see the whole picture yet but can rest assured that the LORD does.
