The 4-H “Unplugged” Team Leadership Conference for members headed to the 7th grade through the 12th grade will take place on July 8th at Jimmie Davis State Park on Candy Lake. 

Leadership goals, teambuilding, canoe racing, water events, and collaboration will all be part of the program that will take place from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Cost to attend is $10.00 per participant with lunch included. 

4-H Members go to Summer Camp

A total of 24 4-H members in the 4th – 6th grade left Jonesboro on Monday, June 23rd, en route to Camp Grant Walker Summer Camp for four days of exciting adventure. 

Nestled in the heart of Fishville, LA, which is near Pollock, Camp Grant Walker has been an integral part of youth development for more than a hundred years. As a central hub of the Louisiana 4-H Program, it provides immersive camping experiences that nurture leadership skills, encourage teamwork and foster personal growth.
