A discussion on how to improve community relations and services for the Town of Jonesboro was held on Thursday, July 24th, in the conference room of City Hall, located at 128 Allen Avenue.
Addressing Jonesboro Mayor James “Spike” Harris were Kreesha Bennett of Volunteers for Youth Justice and TyAnn Bradley of Pine Belt Community Action Agency of Jonesboro.
The productive discussion centered on bringing vital mental health services, youth programs, and additional support resources to the town in the effort to work toward a stronger, healthier, and more supported community.
“I am truly thankful for their dedication and willingness to collaborate with our town,” said Harris. “Let’s continue moving Jonesboro in the right direction—one step, one partnership, and one purpose at a time.”
