By the end of the 2025 LHSAA softball season, Quitman High School had secured the reputation of having one of the top programs in the state, regardless of classification.
Earlier this week, Sports Illustrated (SI) released its 2025 Louisiana All-State Softball team, and to no surprise from anyone who follows prep softball, three members of the two-time Class B state champion Lady Wolverines were selected as best of the best from the Pelican State.
Earning All-State accolades were two-time Class B MVP, Cali Deal, who has signed to play for LSU next spring, Maggie Guyotte, who is entering her senior season at QHS and is a Louisiana Tech commit and Hallie Kate Pullig, who was the 2024 Division V championship game MVP and will be a sophomore next season for the Lady Wolverines.
The Player of the Year award went to Kynzee Anderson of Calvary Baptist while Lauren Baudoin of Vanderbilt Catholic was named Pitcher of the Year and Baylor Bockhaus of Calvary Baptist earned Hitter of the Year honors. Voted as Coach of the Year was Kyle Wieck of Doyle.
