Jonesboro-Hodge High School Athletic Director and head football coach Terrance Blankenship announces that a change has been made to the upcoming 2025 Tiger gridiron schedule.  

Where before the Tigers were scheduled to play at Lincoln Prep (Grambling) in a District 1-1A contest on Friday, September 26th the game has now been moved to Thursday, September 25th. Kickoff time remains at 7:00 pm.

The new playing date now gives JHHS four Thursday playing dates on the 10 game schedule, by far the most games slated to be played on a Thursday in the history of JHHS football competition. 

“The reason we have so many Thursday games this year is that each school in north Louisiana has to schedule a game on that day during the season due to a shortage of referees in both the Monroe and Shreveport Officials District,” explained Blankenship. “For our Thursday home game, we will play Haynesville, and three other schools (Lincoln Prep, Plain Dealing, Glenbrook) designated us to be their Thursday opponent.”
