Summer Scouts!

Scout Membership Now Open for New Year

As summer is winding down, now is the time to get involved with Scouts! Membership is now open to all children, ages 5 and older, and meetings for the new year will begin in September. Scouting America has something for everyone – it is an organization where the entire family can participate, and members find their place as part of a bigger family.

Weekly meetings teach participants about community, teamwork, and each person’s role and responsibility in society. Outside of meetings, scouts participate in a wide variety of activities, including community service, outdoor adventures, camping, building race cars and boats, and attending events at the district level. Each year, members advance through ranks and build increasingly advanced skills.

Most importantly, scouts create friendships and connections that will last a lifetime. If you are looking for a meaningful and productive activity to develop practical skills and broaden your youth’s horizons, you’ve come to the right place!
