The Jackson Parish Library Board of Controls will hold a special called meeting at 3:00 pm on Monday, August 25th, in the McBride Room of the main branch, located at 614 South Polk Avenue in Jonesboro. 

Featured on the agenda will be the call to act on recommendations regarding personnel decisions, adoption of the amended 2025 budget and 2026 budget and as presented, as well as approving the adevertisement of bids to install emergency exit doors and sidewalks on the north side of the Jonesboro Branch.

5 Consider and act on recommendation to move Emily Webb to Bookmobile/Outreach Supervisor at the pay rate on the updated pay schedule.
6 Consider and act on recommendation to move Reanna Rowden to Bookmobile/Outreach Coordinator at the pay rate on the updated pay schedule.
7 Consider and act on recommendation to authorize the Director to hire two (2) part time positions at the pay rate on the updated pay schedule.
8 Consider and act on approving the updated pay schedule reflecting these changes (no other changes made).
9 Consider and act on recommendation to authorize the Director to advertise for bids to install emergency exit doors and sidewalks on the north side of the Jonesboro branch.
