
Jackson Ables and Shepard Norred of Quitman High School were the top junior anglers and finished 5th overall out of the 45 teams that competed in the 2025-26 season-opening NELAHS tournament held on Lake Claiborne on Saturday, September 27th.
Chance Lemoine of Quitman High School, who fished with Tucker Masters, also came home a winner, after his 4.05-pound bass placed in the “Big Bass” contest. The pair finished 4th in junior competition and in 23rd place overall.
