National Principals Month! Recognizing Brent Carpenter of J-H Middle School

Throughout October, which has been deemed as National Principals Month, the Jackson Parish School District is proudly celebrating the incredible principals who lead our schools with dedication and heart! Today, we recognize Mr. Brent Carpenter, Principal of Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School!

Mr. Carpenter is in his fourth year as principal and brings an incredible 25 years of experience in education. His inspiration to become an educator came from a desire to have a positive impact on future generations, a goal he continues to live out each day at JHMS.

One of Mr. Carpenter’s proudest accomplishments as principal has been watching students grow into successful adults who raise families and make a positive impact in their community. He credits much of the school’s success to his dedicated faculty and staff, who work together to support students in every way possible.

A native of Calvin, Louisiana, Mr. Carpenter enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two sons, Brenton and Calop, and two dogs, Bullet and Abby.

Mr. Carpenter says that he feels blessed and honored to be the principal at Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School. He would like to thank the students, parents, faculty, and staff for making JHMS a special place.

Join us in thanking Mr. Carpenter for his leadership and the positive impact he continues to make at Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School!
