The 6th annual Caney Lake Fall Festival Chili Cook-Off was held this past Saturday, October 11th, at Hooks Marina, located at 400 Spillway Road, with Jude Burton being named the winner. 

Michelle Riser was the People’s Choice Award winning entry and was voted as second best by the judges, with the team of Annette Vondenstein and Donna Procell claiming the third-place award. 

The Caney Lake Community Foundation would like to thank Mark and Debra Droesser, owners of Hooks Marina, for hosting the event and offer appreciation to all the volunteers and cooks who donated items to help raise money for the community.
