Mr. Jon Sorenson and J-HHS Drama and Fine Arts students had an opportunity to tour the Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, LA. The museum, unique in its setting and renowned for its permanent collection and exhibitions, is the largest contemporary visual arts museum in Northeast Louisiana. In the former home of the Masur family, the Masur Museum of Art provides an art experience that is distinctly local, emphasizing artists from Louisiana and the greater Southeast alongside artists of national and international importance, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
