The Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School girls basketball team beat Lincoln Prep of Grambling 25-2 on Wednesday, October 22nd, for their first win of the year, which also gave first-year head coach Derrick Perry Sr. his first victory as the Lady Tigers coach. 

Jazzeria Ellis led in scoring with 11 points, including 9 in the first period tha thelp stake JHMS to a 13-0 lead. Aubree Jackson was next with six points with Jeniah Mays finishing with four.  Timberly Wilson and Naakyah Jackson added a basket each to round out the scoring for the junior high edition of Lady Tigers who improved to 1-2 on the year. 

Lincoln Prep 29 JHMS 19 (boys) A slow start that saw the junior high Tigers fall behind 18-5 in the first half spelled doom despite a spirited second-half rally attempt. The Tigers fell to 0-3 on the year with the loss. No individual scoring stats were available.
