The Jackson Parish Library Board of Controls held its rescheduled quarterly meeting on Friday, November 7th, in the McBride Room of the Main Branch, located at 614 South Polk Avenue in Jonesboro.

The meeting began with board members Carol Massey (President), Paula Essmeier, Vicki Jenkins, Judy Cooper, Robin Tew, Lisa Nunn, Ann Standley, and Ex-Officio Juror Amy Magee adopting the 3rd quarter financial and July, August, and September statistical reports.

Agreement to accept the recommendation by Paul Riley to accept the quote from Triad Builders to build two (2) emergency doors with 5×5 concrete landings at each door at the Jonesboro branch was then taken. In closing, the board adopted the amended 2025 budget and 2026 budget proposal.
