In 2025, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) Executive Committee agreed to add Girls’ Flag Football to the prep sports program venue in the state of Louisiana.

As a result, for the first time in school history, Jonesboro-Hodge High School will field a Girls’ Flag Football team. The inaugural season is slated to begin in March of this year against teams from Homer, Booker T. Washington, Green Oaks, Woodlawn, and Union Parish High Schools. 

The coaching staff of the Lady Tigers will be headed up by Kris Cash, with Shan Jackson as an assistant. Expected players are: Vanessa Clifton, Jalenya Jackson, Jayda Anderson, Aspen Atkins, Rumyla Bester, Oddyssey Brooks, Brooklynn Thompson, Destiny Banks, Brookelyn Burks, Zamayah Lewis, Tori Williams, Janiya Brown, Mionna Rushing, and Makenley Ray.
